Madhuwantha Aatigala

 I lived with my parents at grand parent's place. After passing grade 5 examination, I had to leave that place, school and my friends. That was a sad memory of my life. I had to move from Dunagaha to Mirigama. I felt a loneliness. It was very hard to far from my old friends, my school and my grand parents too. But they called me every once a week. My grandparents came to see me in many times. When they came, they brought me some gifts. Living far from grandparents is one of my sad memory.

 At that day, I went to the school with my parents. They stayed near the school gate. After that I was searching about what the exam hall is. After found it I sat in there. Papers were given to us, few minutes later I started to write the paper, It was very complicated. But however I did my best. Few months later results were released. I had passed the exam. I was very happy at that moment. My family also was very happy. Father presented me a mountain bicycle as he promised.

 When I was a child, I was very like spiderman. I have watched that film series many times. There was a friend of mine called Amila. He also very liked it. We used to play together as he was spiderman I was green goblin. One day a spider was on a tree. Amila tried to catch it, suddenly spider jumped to him, he was afraid and shouted loudly. I said to him if spider bite you, you are the new spiderman.

 When I was learning in grade 5. I had no interested in reading books, doing homeworks and writing past papers. It was boring to me. But I'm pretty interested in listening. When someone is saying a story, A picture is drawn in my mind even now. Then, I reminded my school works like a story. I think, anyone could imagine a story from their learning, it will be a help to remind many points of a lesson.

 I'm very like to bath in sea. One day I asked a permission from my father, but he didn't agree with me. However I went to bath in the sea with my friends, but my parents didn't know that. Few days later my father called to me forcefully. I was afraid and I asked "why?" .  " Did you go to the bath?" He asked. I didn't reply..... but one person had told to him about that. Then I had to face to the punishment. I had to clean the house and home garden as a result of that fault.

 One day, when I was in Grade 4, I and my friends went to the playground at the interval. While we was going there we found a rubber ball, then we began to play with it. But we didn't know it was was whose. Few minutes later, one of our next classroom student came to us and he asked the ball. But we didn't like to give it to him. Then, he began to quarrel with us. A teacher has seen our problem and he came to us. As a result of that quarrel teacher kept the ball.

 My childhood was awesome. I lived with my grandparents in my childhood. My grandfather was very kind to me. He has brought toys, chocolates and other kinds of sweets to me. One day he went to one of his friend's place and I also went with him. While he was talking with his friend I went to the kitchen and helped to friend's wife to prepare foods. That lady was really appreciated me and she gave me some chocolates. 

 Ivon wasn't a school mate of mine. But he came to Dhamma school. Our friendship was built in there. There was a mango tree in the Temple. We used to pick mangoes. One day, I and Ivon were picking mangoes. Suddenly main priest had come to us. Finally we had to be punished. He is a talented rider now. He has many fans and he participates to the races at Diyathalawa. He won the 2nd place of bike riding.
